AS it says. Please read the whole add for its issues. No refunds or returns because you're stupid... Anyone who buys it and then makes excuses (We all know the my kid bought it never actually happened) will have a case opened in order for me to not have to pay classifieds board fees Neje master 2s max, modified. Neje charge over £500 for their 40w input model, this is 80w input with adjustable z azes! This started life as a standard 30w unit that cost me around £400.
It then had an adjustable z axes fitted an 80w input diode laser fitted at a cost over £250. This then allowed it to cut 6mm mdf in one pass. I believe the manufacture says it can cut up to 12mm in one pass but i cant confirm that. The working area is slightly small than standard due to the lager components but still around 800x 420mm+ Works with lightburn or their own app which is Bluetooth. Unlike some cheap ones.
I also added an air assist tube which allowed it to cut much faster ( no compressor included). Perfect for larger items as most lasers that allow cutting of this size with this power this cost over £5k!! Reason for sale is I have upgraded. Selling cheap to clear and fund other projects. PLEASE NOTE.
After a windows update, the laser started to to have disconnecting issues. When I first had it running it would run as long as you wanted no issues, there was one update and it meant after about 40-50 mins it would disconnect, if you kept your cutting times to just below this you could start the next layer off straight away and it would be fine, then another update it seems to do it whenever it wants. I cannot be certain what the issue is but it just seems to be too much of a coincidence it was with windows updates. I cant see it being the board as the laser has its own power supply and the board only supplies now for the motors and the pwm signal. You might also want to neaten up the wiring on the laser supply board as the pwm and ground arent in actual connecters and just wedged in (possibly the issue but it worked before), also the air assit is just cable tied, i meant to do it but never got round to it and as i got another laser its just been sat for a few months doing nothing and I have lost interest in spending any more time on this which is a shame as I wanted to keep it as a spare.
Please make note of this when buying. If you want it posting the item will be partially disassembled, no instructions will be given. Collection preferred from Thorne DN8 I have over £650 in this laser so get a bargain. I was able to make around £500 a month from it just on the side as there isnt many people who can work with objects this large who arent doing it as a full time job. Just please note the above issues.
