There are 26 different letters, 2 of each, except for the Q, X, Y, and Z, of which there is only 1 of, for a total of 48 letters. This is due to those four letters being the least used of the alphabet. A couple of the plates could stand a little polishing(not in the cut), with steel wool to shine them, but they could be used as is and would not stray from a perfect engraving. Original wooden dovetailed box has a bit of it missing from one side, as shown.

This shipping cost is for the lower 48 states. INSURANCE Whether or not a package is insured or not is left completely up to the Buyer.
