40W Laser Cutter And Engraving Machine (K40)

Thank you for taking the time to view my listing for my 40w laser cutter/engraver. I purchased this machine about a year ago and have added many upgrades since and have now turned it into an amazing machine. I originally purchased the laser to update some old bee signs, as can be seen from my username I am a beekeeper, I have now completed the job I purchased the machine for and it seems a shame not to pass it on to someone to have as much fun with as I have had.this laser can be used for fun and hobby use or is more than capable of using to start your own business selling laser cut/engraved items on classifieds board/Etsy. When I purchased the laser it had the original Chinese hardware dongle with hacked moshi/coraldraw software as supplied on classifieds board with cheap wiring.I stripped the machine completely and started again as the software/pcb boards and wiring was buggy and drove me mad as I did not know sometimes if it was me or the machine so kept going around in circles like many users do with the standard Chinese offering on classifieds board.It uses any Laptop or Desktop machine you may have,I use an old laptop running windows xp.

The upgrades are: New pcb boards with much better software and cables, this makes the machine run like a dream with loads of English support it is nearly idiot proof(well I can use it with ease! ).The software is open source,this means it is free to download and use,I use Inkscape for the designs and Repetier for sending the code from my laptop to the laser using a usb cable. I purchased an air assist that is more than big enough for the machine,this cuts down on any burning and scorching of material used.Added a honeycomb bed that allows the full bed area to be used rather than just a small section as standard.All mirrors cleaned aligned and tested.
