The machine is equipped with a precision 50W water cooled CO2 laser that will engrave almost anything on almost any surface. 50w laser engraving machine employs an USB port and thus can be connected to your laptop or desktop. If you are to learn to attempt to cut I would advise you use the machine and tube as is, until you have played around and learnt to use it then install a new tube so you do not waste the life of the laser tube. The internal little light bulb need to be changed as it flickered out during testing before listing, yet does not affect the use of the machine- Its only a light for a bit more vision if your working in the dark.
