Alluminum Sign Engraver With Dayton Motor & 2 Fonts...estate Sale Find

ALLUMINUM SIGN ENGRAVER WITH DAYTON MOTOR & 2 FONTS...ESTATE SALE FIND This was found at an estate sale and we don't know much about how to use it...Appears homemade. Complete and ready to work hard for you...The former owner was a highly skilled engineer/machinist and made many tools himself like this out of aluminum and steel...All the moveable parts are smooth and very tightly fitted with absolutly no play...A real pleasure to work. It is sturdy and strong...Has 3 proportion setting, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and is fully adjustable like a sign engraver should be...Comes with 2 fonts, one of which made of aluminum seems to be a homemade set made by the previous owner...Measures 10" high x 17" long x 12" wide...Weight is 42 lbs with letters. WE ARE OFFERING LOCAL PICK UP ON LONG ISLAND. IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES...Needs a new belt for motor and a piece of the old will be included (see detail photo of round rubber belt fragment)...Also, we tested the Dayton motor and it works...BUT, it sound poor and like it has seen better days and maybe needs some oil...Please consider the 1/15 hp motor as needing replacement soon.
