Epilog Laser Engraver Tagworks Pet Dog Tags Signs 12000 Series The serial # of this unit was checked with Epilog and it was verified that this unit still has replacement laser bulbs available. The customer service was excellent and the rep was able to provide the story behind this unique device. The retail of this machine as provided to Tagworks was around $18,000. Further to this Tagworks modified this machine with their custom mechanisms to preform their unique tag making process for Pet Smart customers. The story 818 of these laser units were delivered to Tagworks by Epilog for use in the world’s first customer operated laser kiosks, used to engrave designer pet ID tags, installed in Pet Smart stores across North America.

Epilog was the exclusive laser supplier to Tagworks and produced these customized units off of the Zing 16 Laser platform that the two companies created together. The design combines the Tagworks’ patented mechanical features with Epilog’s powerful systems to create the required user-friendly format that allows very simple loading of Tagworks proprietary design ID tags into the laser for engraving. Tagworks was based in Tempe, Ariz. At the time, and marketed innovative pet products based on their patented laser kiosk approach that engraves designer pet tags.
