Glowforge Basic Laser Cutter Engraver - Works But Read Description

This listing is for (1) Basic model Glowforge laser cutter / engraver and accessories. Please read the entire description before buying / making an offer. It is being sold as is with no returns, I hate to part with it but rent is due. Tested just before I made this listing, engraved a circle (see photos). I didn't do more as it wasn't hooked to ventilation.

Includes(1) Glowforge Basic. Purchased in November 2018 and served me well enough that I bought a second one. Out of warranty and the internal fan is removed. It still works perfectly for engraving and scoring, still connects to wifi, focuses and aligns, everything is perfect except cuts. I'm not sure why but you have to slow it down some or do two passes to cut cleanly.

Could be tube life, could be anything I'm not sure. But it still works, I just have a second laser so I haven't used it for the past year or so. So with some TLC and patience this could be a great laser for someone, or good for parts, but for me financial need and space means I need to part with it. Also I will continue to clean it up to the best of my ability but it may need more attention if some dirt buildup on the tray and glass are an annoyance. PLEASE NOTE: again, the internal fan has been removed and I don't seem to have it anymore.

You'll need an external fan to use this safely. I personally use an AC Cloudline Infinity but the Glowforge filter machines would work as well. I don't know the exact cost but if it's more than the $89 I have for shipping I will pay the extra. If it's less I'll refund the difference. I'm also open to local pickup for free if you want to travel to 27870. No international shipping. Winning buyer will need to send me the email address they'd like ownership transferred to for the Glowforge app/website.
