Holding box (which says "Gravograph") and cover have scratches, scuffs scrapes, etc. There is yellowing of the plastic cover. (I thought this set was missing the capital "X" but I also thought I had an extra weird "H", which I laid aside. After photographing the laid-out set I put 2+2 together and photographed the "X" and replaced it into the set and photographed that, but I did not lay them all out to photograph again. So in the layout, you will notice the missing "X" but it is found & happily reunited with the set.
