Mini USB Laser Engraver Engraving Machine with Engraving Material samples and Software on thumb drive (Windows). Condition is "Used". This is a generic small laser engraver (80mm x 80mm). Includes power supply, cable, printed manual, a small group of blank material for engraving, three examples of material engraved by this laser, and a thumb drive with the software and stock images. Please note that these small low-powered lasers are not suitable to engrave much beyond card stock, cork, and wood.

Do not expect to quickly burn large patterns, or hard material. Suggest you start out burning images onto cardboard (inside of old cereal boxes if great) and small images and short burn times (you can set the laser power and the burn speed) to build operational skill. Different materials take different laser intensity and burn times -- there is no magic formula or table to set power and speed for a given material and desired depth of burn. Many people who buy one of these small solid state laser engravers are unhappy that it won't do cutting and that it is slow. Be aware; do your research before buying to avoid disappointment.

Laser has focusing knob and the material can either be within the enclosure or the system can be placed on top of the flat surface to be engraved. I do not think that the manufacture's stated power or pixel density is correct. Look at the photos of the included examples of work from this machine. The included s/w is for Windows. Am clueless about how to control this from non-Windows machines.
