It's been great. I used it mainly for cutting acrylics it sliced through like a dream on low power settings. Reason for selling? Rarely used in the last few month and now I'm moving abroad. It will arrive ready to operate however, I will include additional instructions to help you get started.

The upgraded mother board means it will work with Industry leading software - Lightburn. This will allow you to add a rotator drum for engraving cylindrical objects. It will also facilitate the use of a camera and air control - although I never got round to those enhancements. Lightburn works beautifully with software like Adobe Illustrator / Coreldraw - literally copy and paste. The American Photonics laser was a game changer when I first got the machine.

Brand new machines are challenging when it comes to aligning the laser for optimal performance. The AP laser pointer device made the process much easier. Useful if you ever feel the need to upgrade or recaliiibrate. Well worth the price and shipping cost from the US. All in all a great machine for cutting and engraving a range of materials other than metal.
