Hot High Precise Speed 40W Usb CO2 Laser Engraver Engraving Cutting Machine

This laser cutter is exactly the same as the one listed for sale on classifieds board as the original seller (search on the item title to find the original). I don't have the patience to get this machine working with the fairly crappy software that comes with the laser cutter so am selling this one after having it for less than a month. The hardware is not that bad for a cheap as dirt laser cutter and the install is painless although the machine does have a big footprint so you'll probably need to put it in a garage or workshop where you will also need to be able to connect a computer to it since it only works via USB. The software is the real problem. It's probably usable if you only want to do really simple cuts and engravings, things like name badges, but anything much above that be prepared to spend a lot of time getting to grips with the software.

It comes with two programs CorelDraw (with a plugin) and LaserDRW. I was able to get my design from AutoCad into CorelDraw but when sending it to the cutter it did cuts in the wrong places. Using the LaserDRW progam is more robust but it has very limited options to import other file types (only really supports images) and its own graphics editor is horrendous. It's too bulky to package up and send so the successful buyer will need to pick it up from my house in Hobart or alternatively I can drop it off to you in the Greater Hobart area.
